Screaming on Oprah, oblivious to prophecy

Audience member reacts to announcement of Oprah Winfrey's "Favorite Things" 2007 giveaway show in Macon, Georgia, the town with the highest ratings for the Oprah show in the U.S.

Recently, talk-show host Oprah Winfrey told her audience that each of them would be receiving a new Volkswagen Beetle.

"As the omnibenevolent queen of mass-audience hypnotism shrieked the good news to her adoring flock, both men and women went into a frenzy that made the reaction to the 1964 invasion of the singing Beetles seem like a church outing in comparison," wrote Robert Ringer of Personal Liberty Digest on December 16, 2010.

"On hearing the news, the lucky folks who had come to the studio thinking they were in for nothing more than a standard dose of  mind-numbing talk-show chatter began screaming, laughing, hugging, waving their arms wildly and, yes, crying.  Some even got down on their knees, apparently to praise the almighty Goddess of Stuff who giveth free Beetles to total strangers," Ringer continued.  To see the audience reaction, click here.

It seems the American culture is hypnotized by stuff and oblivious to contemporary Catholic prophecy.

On the day before the 60th anniversary of his ordination a holy priest gave this reporter a newsletter about the prophetic messages of Pedro Regis, a Jewish Catholic from Brazil.

One of the themes of the Regis messages is the unsettling account of a massive Islamic army pouring out of the Middle East toward Rome and the Vatican destroying everything in its wake.

"... a great army will set out from Mecca and will leave a trail of destruction and death wherever it passes," according to message #2722 given on August 19, 2006 and reported in the Signs & Wonders for Our Times newsletter, Winter 2010 issue.

"... an army will furiously head towards Rome.  Churches will be burned and many holy places will be destroyed," message #3007 given on June 7, 2008.

"... he who is against Christ will bring suffering and sorrow to all Europe," message #2939 given on January 5, 2008.

Two key questions concerned Catholics should consider asking are ...

Is this scenario possible?

If so, when will it happen?

Based on current events and recent history, it doesn't seem rational that an enraged march of Islamists from Mecca to the  Vatican is likely to take place unless something very, very dramatic occurs.

For the most part Catholics and Islamists/Muslims get along.

However, the trigger point with the Islamists is Israel and especially their treatment of the Palestinians.

If the Vatican made some kind of diplomatic overture to Israel that the Islamists interpreted to be offensive, bad things could happen.

Another trigger point could be either a "false flag" event or a deranged person "desecrating" the person of Mohammed or their holy ground and that perpetrator eventually identified as "Catholic.".

Regarding the timing of this possible event and other chaos-charged scenarios, the majority of Catholic prophets are saying these kind of events will happen "soon, soon, soon."

As a matter of editorial policy the Catholic Investigative Journal does not necessarily endorse  modern prophets, so-called prophets or their inspired or imagined prophecies.  We simply investigate and report to the best of our ability what seems to be reasonable from a journalistic point of view.

If the scenario described below occurs in the USA, the events described above are likely to occur in Europe.

Sara Menet's Vision: Nuclear Holocaust in the USA
Note: Maria Esperanza, Christina Gallagher, Jennifer, Maureen Sweeney-Kyle, Little Mary, and Nancy Fowler all received messages about a nuclear war. The Illumination of Conscience (aka the Warning) and the Second Pentecost (aka the Great Miracle) will occur BEFORE the war. Recall, the world is just 7 years away from the 100th Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima: 13 OCT 2017. The period of tribulation in sacred scripture is 7 years. Hmmm…. What should we expect next….

I am not familiar with the geography of the world, but as I looked a the various lands before my view I instinctively knew what countries they were. Looking at the Middle East, I watched as a missile flew from Libya and hit Israel. The mushroom cloud that resulted from the blast was visible, and I knew that the missile contained a nuclear bomb. I was aware that those responsible for the missile were Iranian, but the missile had been hidden and fired from within the borders of Libya.

Almost immediately after this, other missiles began flying from one country to another, quickly spreading war around the world. I also saw that many nuclear explosions did not come from missiles but from bombs of some kind on the ground.

My focus then changed from the Middle East to the United States, and I understood that I was about to see some of the things that would lead up to the nuclear holocaust that I had just witnessed.

For the most part Catholics and Islamists/Muslims get along. Who told you this. In Islam according to a Muslim to Catholic convert on EWTN some years ago, "In Islam there are two rooms, Islam and war. Muslims can be forgiven, all others are infidels. Jihad means, "struggle". There is a personal Jihad with one's own shortcomings and a Jihad to convert all nations to Islamic Sharia Law, to which all Muslims are sworn to act when called upon." Muslims really do not need to march anywhere. They live and work and pray and play and train for Jihad right in our communities. Islamic Terrorists may not actually be decedents of Ismael (the son of Abraham and the slave girl Hagar) but he certainly fits the description, " He shall be a wild ass of a man, his hand against everyone, and everyone's hand against him; In opposition to his own kin shall he encamp." Gen.16:12 And we (according to St. Paul) are of the sons of the free-born. All in all, I think I would rather receive a beetle for Christmas. This could endanger us if printed. It is just FYI to take to prayer.

The last time I watched Oprah was when she had the Dominican nuns as guests on her show. True joy, true happiness, true peace was radiated by these holy women of God. Oftentimes, our Culture worships false gods. Money, materialism, cars, houses, food, fame, success, sex, you name it, we pursue it. At Christmastime, let us look to the Infant in the manger at Bethlehem. No fanfare, no screams, just a star in the East, Kings bearing gifts, angels singing from on High while the Culture sought, through Herod, to destroy all infant boys in the land. Today, as we destroy babes in the womb and worship embryonic stem cell research, Christ is born in the hearts of the Culture of Life through a woman vastly different from Oprah. A woman who said "Fiat." Give your Fiat today to the Lord Jesus!

Hmmm…when we pair this vision with the one from Jancita of Fatima where she saw the "Holy Father" first seemingly imprisoned in a house where outside, people are throwing things at the windows and then being lead to a hill, having to walk over the bodies of the dead and himself being executed with arrows…

Kinda falls into place, doesn't it? Question is; how much longer till this takes place?

I'm not understandng the connection between Oprah and this Islamic army. I'm familiar with various prophecies including Pedro Regis. I understand the cult of materialism and it's evil strangle hold on our culture. But I'm not connecting the beginning of the article with the end unless you're saying materialism will bring on an invading chastisement.

"For the most part Catholics and Islamists/Muslims get along."

Not in the Middle East. In Iraq, Catholics have just canceled all Christmas celebrations because they're under a reign of terror from the Muslims. Visualizing them moving on the Vatican doesn't take much imagination at all.

What has to happen first, is that radical militant Islamic leaders must conquer Mecca and Medina either from within or without. It is a written or unwritten tenet of Islam, apparently, that he who holds these holy cites is recognized as leading Islam. This would mean the pro-West Saudis would have to fall. One possible scenario would be that Iran seizes such an opportunity in the confusion of a WWIII possibly involving such players as Isreal, US, Russia, perhaps Pakistan, with China funding one or both sides of the conflict.

Oprah is so over-rated. She is just rich, rich, rich. She is not anything special or any better than anyone else. She is simply a rich black fat broad who got really lucky, if you value stuff and wealth. Wealth is not what God is looking for. And, all this stuff she gives away is not of her own$$; it is stuff she gets companies to donate. She is not to be adored and glorified. She is a mere human being who is materially and monetarily rich. That is all.

Nobody really cares & that what will bring on the turmoil. We are a very complacent society that stands for nothing. That is why we are very vuneralble.

  10. Sammy

Maybe that trigger is the Warning. See Catholic Planet.

What do Islamists marching on Rome have to do with Oprah?

  12. Kenneth Heck

Some prophecies state that Mecca will be destroyed, along with the Ka'aba where the black stone is preserved. If Muslims believe a Catholic or Christian is responsible it could easily explain their drive to destroy Rome and the Vatican.

I don't see the connection between the audience's reaction to receiving the new car and what Pedro Regis has to say. It seems like two random stories that have nothing to do with each other. "People are happy to receive a car, but they wouldn't be happy if they knew some random guy thinks that maybe something really bad will happen in the future." Er. Ok. If you say so.
